Been a While

Hey Guys, sorry for the lapse in posting. The project that I'm working on with Kurt is on hold for the moment, but I'm probably going to pick it back up again later this week, so do not despair! At the moment I am working on a series of three paintings. They will all be painted with gouache on wood panel. I'm kind of limited in what I can do with it at the moment because I literally just ran out of white gouache. However, I'm hoping to get to the art store tomorrow if not yet tonight so we should be back in business. These paintings are each based on the personal tastes of three people I know. The one below which is in progress is based on Kurt because he likes cherry flavoured things. I also tried to keep her kind of classy but with a little bit of fun too, because that is also a bit like him.

So here is the progress so far and some close ups. I also have the second one planned which will be based on my friend Laura and her love for cupcakes. That one will be very cute and lolita-esque. As for other projects, I'm still plotting out that webcomic. I have a really cute idea for the first one. I also am continually working on stuff to put on my Etsy shop and am practicing painting in photoshop. I have a load of projects that I want to work on and just not enough time to get everything done. I think what's going to have to happen is that I'm going to have to get a schedule put together or something. I'll figure it out. Also please, if you read, leave a comment!
